As a Financial Advisor and a Managing Director of the Northwestern Mutual Financial Network office in Vernon Hills, Illinois, David Casper already knows not one, but two, satisfying and lengthy careers. His first began early in life when he was chosen as a three-year starter for Notre Dame’s Fighting Irish football team. In addition to being a gifted athlete, he was a solid student, graduating with a degree in economics and earning Academic All American honors his junior year, the same year he was voted the team's Most Valuable Player. His achievements earned him a place in the Omicron Delta Epsilon Honor Society for Economics, and he received the NCAA Post Scholarship Grant.

With David Casper's performance on and off the field, the MVP was a sweet pick for the Oakland/Los Angeles Raiders in 1974, where he quickly established himself as a sure-handed tight end and an acclaimed contributor to a Superbowl win in 1977. During his career, he was named All-Pro and All-AFC four times, was selected to play in five Pro Bowls, and was picked as the tight end for the Sports Illustrated All-Time Dream Team and the All-Century Team. David Casper earned his sport's highest honor when selected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2002. Football buffs refer to David Casper as "a complete package" because he could do it all - block, run and catch. Indeed, he was a dominant player. And David Casper still is.
